EN : Always in search of new artistic explorations, Satchel Hart returns with an EP titled « How To Succeed In Business And Then Die Anyway. » This project reveals a darker and more introspective side of the Brussels-based artist. While his previous album was sunny, this EP delves into profound themes such as unconscious pain, the quest for freedom, and melancholy. Musically, Satchel broadens his horizons by drawing inspiration from post-punk and experimental rock, reminiscent of Puzzle and The Garden, while remaining true to his psychedelic pop influences. The production is modern and adventurous, and despite this new post-punk touch, Satchel manages to maintain a certain lightness while once again proving his undeniable sense of melody.

This EP is almost entirely self-produced. Satchel, a sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist, writes, composes, and mixes his tracks himself. On stage, the frontman, singer, and guitarist is accompanied by four musicians well-known in the Brussels music scene.

La production se veut moderne et aventureuse, et malgré cette nouvelle touche post-punk, Satchel parvient à préserver une certaine légèreté, tout en prouvant une nouvelle fois son indéniable sens de la mélodie.

Cet EP est presque entièrement autoproduit. Satchel, ingénieur du son et multi-instrumentiste, écrit, compose, et mixe lui-même ses morceaux. Sur scène, le frontman, chanteur et guitariste, s’entoure de quatre musiciens bien connus de la scène musicale bruxelloise.
