District Five is a Zurich-based quartet composed of Vojko Huter, Paul Amereller, Tapiwa Svosve, and Xaver Rüegg. For more than ten years, the four multi-instrumentalists have been developing a shared musical language shaped by their friendship, influences, and collective experiences.
At the crossroads of jazz, pop, and exploratory music, District Five creates a sound that is constantly evolving—free from categories yet true to its own identity. Their work explores how collective creation can become a way of reflecting on the world and actively engaging with it.
