Crazy alchemists, the Psychotic Monks mix melodies, walls of sounds, within their songs atonal and obscure noises. But what really impresses the minds is the emotion and energy released by each character, immersed in the depths of their being. Some kind of catharsis.
Inspired, among other things, by the Bad Seeds clique, by Sonic Youth and Joy Division, or perhaps rather by the films of Cronenberg, Lynch and Wim Wenders, they create a chaos that borders on trance. There are those moments of absolute darkness, and there are those who illuminate a path where you can see no further than two steps forward.
