The British psychedelic alt-rock group Club Kuru, born from a solo project of Bristol classical jazz pianist Laurie Erskine, is now composed of 5 members.
After releasing a series of EPs – « All the Days », « Layla » and « Waiting At the Corner » – they finally released their first album « Giving in » in March 2018. Expressly concocted to make us dream, this album is at the same time joyful, romantic and melancholic. Known for their lively and moving live performances inspired by the 70s, they mix jazz, funk and improvisation to deliver psychedelic and punchy sets.
