WACKELKONTAKT is a shapeshifting, ever-changing Psychotrap trio with an extreme range of styles and dynamics, inspired by industrial, club, hip-hop, noise, drone, and post-orientalism. Their debut album (« Heal the Split », Magia Roja, Barcelona 2020) was acclaimed for « its dynamism and reluctance to stick to one genre » (The Quietus).
Touching yet blood-freezing vocals, virtuosic drumming, post-epileptic imagery, and accurate processing keep the listeners awake within a broad range of emotions. In addition to touring across Europe with their audiovisual set, the trio regularly creates stage works, site-specific performances, and sound installations. This Fall they are launching a new LP co-released on Orthodox Records (France) and Jaune Orange (Belgium). Their music was acclaimed by the Quietus ad Fact Magazine and played on radios such as NTS, ORF, Noods, Radio Corax, Hakatze, Teder, WDR, Radio L’Eko and in numerous venues all over Europe and the UK.
